🧵 Uhhhh....Whoops
Yesterday, I was on a consulting call with a social media strategist. I’ve worked in social media for years.... I’ve built content for multiple of my own brands, worked at a DTC marketing agency, written scripts, shot photo and video, spent hours editing, and even made ads that have gone viral. On a technical level, I know how it all works.

But for this phase of my work, for NIYAH Advisory, I’ve been kind of stuck on marketing. The first year+ of my work was fueled by warm referrals. But as I continue to grow, I need to create a marketing flywheel that will steady and sustain my workflow.

There’s been some confusion in me: do I talk more about my corporate experience? My entrepreneurial journey? Do I showcase coaching, workshops, strategy? Which service is most valuable — and who even needs to know? How does lifestyle fit into all of it? What about my stances on politics, on Palestine? Should I start casually posting again?

So I took up a session with a social media strategist who works with coaches and consultants, specifically. The strategist’s first question was simple: “Can you show me a video of a coaching recap you’ve done?”

I paused before admitting, “I don’t have one.” She smiled, then asked, “Okay — what about a workshop recap?” Still nothing. I felt the tiniest bit called out, but also humbled because I was realizing, in real time, that I had been skipping the basics.

We spent the next 30 minutes nailing down my content pillars. She asked me about my methodology in coaching, what excites me about it, what kinds of changes my clients undergo...the list goes on.

And it hit me: Despite showing up here every week, I’ve never actually walked you through what I do.
🧠Inside This Issue
If you’re new here, 👋🏽 welcome!

This newsletter lives at the intersection of storytelling, leadership, and what it means to be a complex human with something real to say. I write about the things most people avoid in professional spaces: messy identity shifts, the impacts of politics, and the hard, human work of building something honest in public. Through my work, I help founders, creatives, and execs own their story and lead with resonance.

This week → What does coaching with me look like? Is this work soft and optional — or is it strategic, essential, and high-leverage? What kinds of problems can coaching help solve...maybe even yours? Let’s get into it 👇🏽
đź’¬ What Coaching Actually Looks Like
People often assume coaching = mindset work. But in my world, it's more like a strategic partnership — where identity, story, and execution are all on the table.

Clients come to me when they are at an inflection point:

- Founders trying to launch, scale or pivot without losing themselves.
- Execs in transition, stepping into new rooms with higher stakes.
- Leaders who are ready to be seen — but don’t want to become someone else to get there.

Together, we build the scaffolding for your next chapter — strategy, messaging, and visibility — with frameworks you can come back to again and again.

"It was super helpful and I appreciated how Arshi forced me to be more specific in my questions to get proper advice, and sprinkled in coaching moments throughout." - Sadia F., NIYAH Workshop Attendee
My coaching container is where story meets scale. Where internal clarity leads to external movement. And where people build themselves into the version they need to be — to do the work they’re meant to do.
🧠The NIYAH Method, In Plain English
The NIYAH Method combines coaching with business clarity, decision frameworks, and identity-rooted messaging, all tailored to what you’re building next.

Here’s what we focus on:

- Clarity that starts with values — not resumes
- Decision architecture to help you lead through complexity
- Messaging that reflects who you are, not just what you do
- Visibility that doesn’t feel performative
- Tools you can use again and again — not just insights you forget

Depending on your goals, you’ll walk away with:
→ A Leadership Identity Map to anchor your voice
→ A Decision-Making Playbook to navigate tough calls
→ A Professional Story Bank for pitching, interviewing, or building community
→ A 90-day Visibility Plan that doesn’t suck your soul
→ A Reflection & Iteration Guide — so that you can continue to grow and evolve.
đź’¬ Question Of The Week:
What part of your work or leadership are you silently assuming people understand — but haven’t clearly explained? (And what could shift if you finally did?)
📣 How to Work With Me
Here's how I'd love to work with you in your next chapter:

→ Power Sessions: $450 / 90 min. Perfect for a story reboot, visibility strategy, or high-stakes messaging moment.

→ Fall Workshops: I run 1.5 to 3 hr sessions for orgs on: narrative clarity, visibility for rising leaders, and resilience in leadership. Have an org in mind? Let’s talk.

→ 1:1 Coaching Package: 2 August spots left — designed for mission-driven founders, creatives, or execs navigating a pivot or visibility leap.

đź’ˇ From My Desk
The story I shared here this week reminded me that we all need people to hold up a mirror to us once in awhile and say, “Hey, you’re skipping the basics.”

If something resonated in this — if you’re building something, or becoming something — I’d love to hear about it. Just like I laid out what I do here today...let’s make sure people know what you do, too.
🥨 Snacks:
I have less and less snacks as the days go on. The state of the human race is not in a good place. Everything I'm tuning into is related to Gaza. I'll leave you with the realest thing you've got to know this week.

🍉 Palestine: A chilling testimony from former US Security Contractor who worked for the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation confirms what many of us are already furious about: there is no access to humanitarian aid in Gaza.

(I'll try to muster up some...snackier snacks for y'all next week. But for now, FREE PALESTINE.)
